"Never doubt that a small group of
committed citizens can
change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
- Margaret Meade

Peace Corps volunteers around the
world are waiting to write to teachers and their classrooms in the
U.S.! The Peace Corps has a dynamic
correspondence exchange program for U.S. teachers and PC Volunteers
serving overseas. The program enriches classrooms enormously by
facilitating the exchange of letters, stories, pictures, souvenirs,
artifacts, etc., and touches the hearts of students and teachers
alike. Peace Corps headquarters matches Volunteers with teachers.
Would you or other teachers in your school like to participate? We
encourage you to contact Amy Clark, at the Peace Corps World Wise
Schools program:
aclark@peacecorps.gov. Teachers can also apply to
be matched online, at
